Taking a few minutes at your table to carry out a light exercise is another amazing way for the workforce to relieve stress.

This exercise will not only reduce stress, it will also boost cognitive function and keep the body agile. Sitting in one spot for a long time might add to stress at work as well as fluid retention and uneven circulation of blood to the body.

If all organs of the body do not receive a sufficient flow of blood, the brain may become overburdened, and the subject may feel pain in the body and even lose concentration which is detrimental to your work. So, keep moving!

    Stay Hydrated

Take enough water to keep you hydrated throughout the day. It is believed that the level of stress may accelerate easily if a person is dehydrated.

You are expending a lot of energy as you work and taking sufficient water is the key to replenishing a substantial amount of that energy.

Drinks like alcohol and coffee do not hydrate the body, rather they function to increase stress and other related conditions. This is because they serve as depressant and stimulant for stress.

It is advised to minimize the consumption of this category of drinks or even avoid them altogether.

    Herbal Supplements For Stress Relief

Taking a supplement is another amazing way for the workforce to relieve stress. Herbal supplements are preferable and more effective in managing stress compared to pharmaceutical medications.
